My New N-Gauge Layout...

Postby Camborner on Sat Nov 01, 2008 11:32 pm

After seeing Dapol's new Terriers in N-Gauge, I wondered if it was possible to design a layout to fit under my bed in N-Gauge. Fortunatly, Mum agreed to the idea, so here's what I came up with:
Image
The layout will be 3'x4'6", and will be controlled by DC. I've no idea what I'm going to call it yet, I'll have to think of something Cornish... I wonder if there are N-Gauge Cornish Engine Houses anywhere...

Very impressive and a fantastic idea. I love that layout plan! Plenty of operating potential, although in the fiddle yard I would add a few more sidings for storage.

What did you use to design that plan?

I used AnyRail, someone posted it on here a while back.

On the site, you can download a free version, but it only goes up to 50 track peices.

Thanks for the idea, but I'd thought I'd go a little more original this time. I'm thinking about the name Treganstren, as it's Cornish for Home-With-Train, Tre-Gans-Tren.

I also had the idea of a small N gauge layout as a project in a few years time, ever since I went to the GCR steam gala, a model of Loughborough would be superb! Especially with the new DApol b17s!!

Anyway, nice one, and I hope it all goes well! Lots of pictures please!

Thnks for the comment! Now you've made me start thinking about what stock! There are the 9F's, and the Manors, and the Terriers, then the B17's...
