Looks more like the remains of Dalek Kahn and the Supreme Dalek than adjustable feet. :-)

I'd love to see that!
You're pulling the train slowly out of the station when leg Caan yells out 'The train is four seconds late! You will be exterminated!'
Life is like a box of chocolates, so scoff it all while you can... Any more trouble from you, and it's a short sharp visit from the smack fairy!

More like when Deb sees the bank statement this month, I will be exterminated . The base has cost a little over £50 with all the fittings

The control panel is almost finished :) and the box of switchies and plugs is only half full now , or is that half empty ? as i have spent the evening making the 25 way leads that go from the box to the layout , and there are 3 of them , I managed to get some round/flat cable :? and it only has one of the ways marked the rest are gray so careful counting was needed as its 36 way cable but it will be handy to have some spare ,just in case

Round/flat cable ? Its flat ribbon cable rolled up and a round outer covering

Pictures to follow when i'm happy with the way it looks , because i think Ryan could make a better job of the top  it looks realy naff

I'm waiting for the glue to dry on the ballast at the moment , lets hope it stays when it should when i move the layout .
I'm working on it at my Dads house so i can't load pictures as the laptop came from my sisters work and they have locked it so it won't load the camera softwear :( so you will have to wait untill i get a bit of spare time at home to see them

It looks great, I do like your ballasting. What ballast do you use?

I have clear that with Deb first , 'How much will you pay ?' she said
As for the ballast make it was in a box of scenic bits i got from ebay made by Scenic World of Worcester , It is a mix of grays and some black stone and looks the part and should look good after the track is painted and a colour wash added for the bits where the locos stop

Just a quick update as the two weeks in Cambridge is coming to an end :)
I had a short when i powered it all up :x , after two evenings trying to find it as it was intermittent i tracked it to the only electro frog point (no pun intended) on the layout beeng faulty all the live frog ones work fine .
Now it will have to be taken down and the floor cleaned before Mum gets home on Monday

Thanks David , Work has started on the control box now using 19inch rack mount panels in a home built box . Its 10u high so i can turn the track plan round to suit the side of the layout that i put it and the controllers will always be at the bottom .

I hope to get the panel drilled at the weekend as i will do it on my friends milling machine to keep the holes in a straight line . His milling machine is computer controled and accurate to .01 of a mill so its better that eye and a piller drill
