The streelights I ordered from Jake arrived today and they really look the business (Thanks Jake! ).

Here's the 'how to bit'.

If you have a sister, earn some brownie points by offering to take her to the next local 'Dolls House and Craft fair'. After she's been revived and while you are there, buy a power supply, plugs and a plug strip for a lot less than what the model railway trade is charging at the moment.



The power supply I have is rated to take 20 lamps and it's all ever so easy to fit:



As soon as I have chance, I'll fit them to my extention boards and take a couple of photos for you to see what they look like.

Talking about using dolls house stuff for lighting,

Had a look at the microminiatures site puff-puff, those dolls house bulbs look very expensive. I do the exactly the same bulbs for £1.99 a pack+£1p&p.

Jake has some nice lighting, is there any chance of putting 12v bulbs in Jake?

12 V is an option i am currently looking at. I wont be selling on my site until I have sufficent stock, which will all be probaly 12V.

I do 12V micro bulbs Jake much smaller than the 6V ones you use and perfect for the job. If you want to order some I will do you a good price.
