Scalescenes Signal box and new goods shed in N-gauge

Postby wiggy25 on Sat Aug 09, 2008 9:06 pm

The signal box has been on the layout for ages, I just needed to finish a few bits off!

It's taken me a while to finish the goods shed as I can't sit down for more than 20mins! Doctor's orders as I've had an operation to remove a disc in my back.
Shame is I need to spend most of my time lying down!
Anyway here it is:-

The 5p gives a good indication of just how 'HUGE' these models are
The interior detail in the shed office and in the signal box is brilliant, it's just a shame you can't see it in this size!

They're so detailed for such lovely small models. Just shows what anyone can do with a bit of patience! Are these going to go on your thomas layout?

Jake, yes these are going onto the Thomas layout.
I already have a goods shed which I scratch built using the same principles as the Scalescenes models.
I just copied the Hornby goods shed that they use on their TrakMat layout.
I just like this one better!

All of the buildings on the Thomas layout are from Scalescenes anyway, so it made sense to have a complete set.

Cheers
