My Old Layout

Postby Jack H on Tue Aug 12, 2008 2:52 pm

Here a few pictures of my old layout!
and well I might as well tell you the story!
My first layout was the 6x4 hornby track mat which came in the eurostar set! my parents built a board for it and i had that for about 3 years. we then moved house and although we brought the board with us there was never enough room (or the time) to put it back up. Eventually i managed to convince my parents into putting it up in my bedroom and having it on pullys form the roof, and this is what we did. Using some of the timber from the old board we constructed a 8x4 and i came up with the track plan. My mum then complained it was unsightly and that she wanted it moving down to the garage this was difficult! But once down there me and my dad noted the extra room we had and so set about on a an extension incorporating a 2nd tier we finished this and then my mum started talking about an extension

well heres some pics of the layout in about 06

So the garage was the railway room and now the railway room is the dining room, so where's the layout now?
A happy New Year to one and all
