Kader have bought Sanda Kan

Postby Rog (RJ) on Sat Nov 15, 2008 10:32 pm

Now then, Kader owns Bachmann and Sanda Kan produces for Hornby (amongst others) so what's the betting that Hornby won't be able to meet their new product targets, as Bachmann are more likely to get priority?

I just hope that some of the gloom I am reading about this turns out to be unfounded. When I was a kid there was a company called Jowett who made cars (Javelin saloon, Jupiter Sports and the Bradford van) but I believe they outsourced their body production to a company called Briggs Motor Bodies. Briggs were bought out by another car company called Ford (you may have heard of them!). Jowett cars disappeared soon after if my history is correct. However they have reappeared recently in 1/76 scale!

Let's hope our worries are unfounded and fair play prevails.
