Having seen this earlier thread Grass I thought I would post these two links.

how hard is it to be accurate on where you are spraying, and not get buildings and stuff?

It will only stick where you have applied the glue. Once the glue is set, any unwanted grass can be cleaned off with a brush or vacuum cleaner.
