Hi All

Postby wiggy25 on Sun Aug 10, 2008 7:08 pm

I've posted a couple of times, thought it would be polite to introduce myself.

I'm nearly 38 and have a step daughter, so I can't really come up with an excuse to have a train set!!
I'm a service engineer and when I was growing up near Nottingham my dad had a very big layout that we were never allowed to touch!
Thats probably why I have a set of my own now.
I only bought my first, second hand Bachmann digital starter set off ebay about 3 years ago. Since then read loads on all the other forums and as Digitrains is very close to me I went and had a play with all of the DCC systems they have on demo.
I still have the EZ-command, but added to this are the NCE PowerCab and the Hornby Elite.
I have a large OO layout in my 'train room' ontop of this in one corner is a very small N-gauge layout which I've used to hide the tight curves.

I'm also getting very close to finishing my N-gauge Thomas & Friends layout, which I hope to exhibition, if I get invited that is!
I've posted pics in the layouts thread.

Anyway sorry for the long post, having had some odd replies from other forums makes sense to give a bit of information about ones self, saves red faces later!

So a big hello from me Ian.
Ian W
