Hello from Downunder

Postby kingsnorton on Tue Jun 24, 2008 8:17 am

Hello there my name is Dave I live in the land of Oz but was born in Bromsgrove UK and lived in West Heath Birmingham, I moved to Oz when I was nearly 14 now 51 years later I am still in the land of Kangaroos and Carlton United Beer.

As a boy growing up in England I spent most of my spare time sitting beside the local Main Line or New Street Sataion with my Ian Allen ABC train ref getting train numbers, the thrill of seeing a Coronation Class loco at speed has never left me and I have been a railway fanatic all my life.

I am currently building a OO gauge layout loosly based on the Birmingham Suburb of Kingsnorton, still in the early stages of building after flattening a N Gauge layout that I had been working on for over two years, anyhow thanks to a member of the Hornby Forum I found my way here, hope to learn and contribute to this forum.
