FOR SALE: Airfix (GMR) Pendennis Castle

Postby KingEdward1st on Mon Sep 22, 2008 8:34 pm

Airfix (GMR) Pendennis Castle, running number 4079, BR lined green with early crest, Cat. No. 54125-5.

This is a very nice example of the model. The loco is in excellent condition with no wear to lining or transfers, but there is no front coupling, which I think makes it look better, as it looks less cluttered on the front.

It is tender drive and runs smoothly and quietly in both directions.

The box is slightly tired but good considering its age. I am after £30 for this loco + £5 p&p.

Please pm me if you are interested. Offers considered.

I think it looks better without the front coupling and that locomotive i think looks strange going backwards.

Surely you can just add a coupling! You must have thousands going spare!

It is a very good locomotive. I have seen these on ebay go for between £40 - £50.

Its a great locomotive.

If brought today I can post today.

I will have a look if it has the instruction sheet. It is a great locomotive.

I would love it to go to a good home like yours.

Coming from a clever man that is a bit of a blonde moment. I will NEVER be able to do that becuase as I have said previously it has no front coupling and no instructions!

£30 inc p&p is as low as I will go.
