Camborne Parkway is...

Postby Camborner on Wed Sep 03, 2008 2:39 pm

FINALLY FINISHED!
And to celebrate, I bought myself a pair of Pullmans! There may be a couple of things I tweak in the future, all it needs now is people. I'll try to post some piccies tonight.

Well, here are the piccies. The town design has changed slightly since my image on the Big H.
First up, the 'shed' end. This side hasn't changed much, apart from the rusting loco parts, off my old Scotty chassis, and the 2721 body I used for my Duck/57XX conversion.

The 'town' end is where most changes have occured over the last few days. A small park in the centre, with a small playing field by the church, and overgrown wildness behind the station.

7702 hauled the first train over the completed layout-the Pullmans and the Class B tanker.

Looks absolutely fantastic! Perfect in every single way. Love the rusty wheels lined up and the railings near the church look fab.

Well done Camboner and well deserved :D

Also how did you get those clouds of the roof looking soo good?

The clouds are some sort of wallpaper, I'll give you precise details later.

The wallpaper is made by As Creation, a German company. I've had a look round their site, www.as-creation.de, but I don't speak German so I'm a little lost! The pattern number is 7981-21, and the name of the pattern is Sky/Cloud.

I found it! There are also a couple on eBay for roughly £6.
